The buck walked slowly onto the River Bank, his head held high. Another gun fire went off and he smirked. Then as angry shouts of hunters went off like rockets, his smirk became a bit bigger. He finally heard them walking back towards their cabins. His work back in that forest was done.
Lowering his crania, he looked at his reflection in the water, then took a drink. It seemed everybody knew his name and what he was famous for, but not for what he really was. He was a mystery, a legend, he, was Kanu. Known for being in one place one minute, somewhere else another. Also known for turning away, leaving, and never looking back.
That made him who he was, no, who he is!

Flower ran ran and ran until she crashed into Kanu's back leg. She flew back and rubbed her noggin. She started to cry, then seeing who she nocked into got more nervous and cryed more.

Kanu looked down at the skunk as he craned his neck. He turned, looking down upon the rodent.
"What are you running from?" He asked, smirking again. Was this little thing scared of some hunter with a gun? He couldn't imagine a hunter though, coming to get a skunk pelt. They were so small, and didn't smell all to nice.
His voice was raspy, a hiss I guess you could call it, even though he was a deer, a buck. His brown, black, and white antlers seemed to gleam in the light as the sun beat down on them.
Snow began to fall, flurries they came in, all at once. Stepping foward in the snow, he nudged the skunk with his front hoof lightly.

Flower was still crying but stood up. She sniffled then looked up at the legend, the one she had heard stories about but never seen. She felt so embaraced her cheeks turned bright pink.

"Rodent, I suggest you answer me. And while I'm at it, mind telling me your name? Unless it's Rodent of course..."
He smirked and watched as the skunk's cheeks turned pink. "So, I take it you've heard of me then? Not surprised by that..." He stated, glaring up.
The snow came falling faster, a snowstorm was brewing. He had encountered storms before, he could handle it.
His hooves sunk into the snow, going up to his ankles. His ears twitched, they seemed almost golden.

"I..." she stuutered "I'm not a rodent i'm a skunk. And my name is Flower!" The leader puffeed up her chest and looked up at the big buck. She didn't care how big he was, she wanted to be reconized. Then, the skunk marched off to her den for a long nights sleep.

Kanu raised an eyebrow, the smirk coming back to his maw. "Whatever you say..." He mumbled, turning.
The buck dissapeared threw the foilage, his own head held high, but yet not a challenge to anyone. He left the Stream in a flash, not looking back.
One minute he was there, the next, somewhere else. Turning away, leaving, never looking back...
TO: SOMWHERE!

Herle planted his daggers in the moist ground, lowering his russet cranium to drink deeply from the stream. His dark eyes watched as the clear water rushed by, the liquid now pouring down his parched throat. He could smell the scent of other deer; it seemed as if they had been here recently. Although these days Herle hadn't encountered any others of his kind. Sighing, he rasied his great head again and scanned the area with tired eyes.

Dragon hopped around and saw soneone. She hopped over and saw a buck. Running up she said, "Hi! I'm Dragon."

Herle was startled for a moment; he hadn't seen another living thing for a quite a long time. The water dripped from his muzzle as he shook his head gently, opening his eyes again and surveying the small rabbit with a warmer gaze now. 'Oh, hello there. I'm Herle, nice to meet you,' he said in a low voice, hoarse as he had not used his vocals for a while.

"I'm sorry if I scared you." Dragon went over and got a drink. "So, what's up?" When dragon was done drinking she looked up. "Do you want to go exploring? "

'Erm...sure, I need something to do,' he answered, lifting his forelegs to remove his daggers from the moist earth.

'You're on, little rabbit,' Herle snorted michievously as he cantered ahead, leaving small clouds of dust in his wake. His hooves pounded the ground as he cleared the undergrowth in long, swift strides.
