She was told by her mother that her father died honourabley but never knew how he did die. None the less she never thought about it for she had never known the fox. Once she was five months old her mother began to teach her about the world and how to hunt and play. Not a week later they were walk quickly down the hunter's path trying to get home when Mystic's mother stopped a hunter. Hidding Mystic in a bush to protect the young pup, she was shot to death and Mystic was orphaned. The crys from her mother still ring in the pups ears, though it comforts her a bit to know that there last word together were " I love you."
IC: Mystic jogged down the hunter's path along side her mother, they both could smell danger in the air. "We Have to get out of here soon." the mother whispered to her pup. They both then began to run as fast as they could, but the pup trailed behind. The mother raced back for Mystic and carried the pup by the scruff of her neck. But suddenly the mother froze. " What is it mother?" the pup asked her voice shaky and hard to make out. " A Human." the mother gasped as she gently placed her on the ground. Bushing the pup into the bush she licked her forehead " I love you." Mystic's mother smiled a convicing smile that made it seem as if nothing was wrong. " I love you too mother." Mystic cried as her mother slowly walked away. A sharp, ear spliting bang rang through the forest and the cries of a fox were heard. After mnay minutes the pup stuck out her head and watched as a hunter dranged her mother's lifeless body away..
