Flaming Ash moved slightly away at the nudge from Kanu. No one had ever cared for her as much to simply push her out of the way of something. "Thank you......" She whispered. A thanking smile followed. Wait. She smiled. Flaming Ash paused. The smile left. She didn't know if she wanted to jump for joy or die. She tried to be angry, but it didn't work. The only emotion she had was happiness. This proved that she was slowly getting her emotions instead of all at one time. The words her mother told her about her emotions coming back swirled around her brain. "When you meet the buck that is destined to be your mate, your emotions will slowly come to you." Her mother had said. Flaming Ash looked to Kanu with one last, long glance. Then dashed off into the forest. She was just so confused.

Kanu only saw a glimpse of the smile, but knew it was there. An emotion. Why did it just come back then? He didn't know about the whole, 'Emotion will come back to her when she meets the buck that is destined to be her mate....' Before he could open his maw, she was gone. With one last glance at the hunter, and a snort, he followed after her.

As the deer left, Ember flew down to Mai's side. Her body was cold and blood coverd her back. "She's dead." the screech owl sighed as he rolled her body over. Her eyes where still open so the owl gently closed them. grabing the owl by the back he tryed as hard as he could to lift her. Finally after many trials he was air born, Mai's lifeless body held up by his claws. Slowly he flew off, the owl needed a proper barial.

Bullets. The wretched sounds. Ransun's ears lifted to the air. Maybe this wasn't a good idea... The buck noticed the owl. His flexible legs bunched and sent him hurdling to the two. His long ears were slightly bent back, his eyes occasionally glancing back at the hunter. His black fur slightly stood out, but rabbits were quick, so he could make it.
